Cathedral de Santiago

Most people say that a trip to Galicia is incomplete without a walk along the “Way of St. James”, as the path of the pilgrimage is also called. Cathedral de Santiago is a masterpiece in itself. Most tourists visiting the cathedral talk about a magical feeling that they experience, when in the cathedral.

Torre de Hercules

This is the oldest on duty light house in the world. It has been operational since that Roman period and has been a witness to every ship that has sailed the seas surrounding Galicia.

Costa da Morte

This is also called the “Death Coast” and runs along the northwest coast of the Galician county. This coast is surrounded by several small yet beautiful villages. The coast has got its name owing to the fact that several fishermen have lost their lives here. Coast de Morte is a rocky coast and is very dangerous. The end of Costa de Morte is called Finisterre, which means the end of the land. This is a beautiful spot and only when you see it will you know why it is called so.
